It’s not all doom and gloom in Scotland just now, yes the coronavirus is currently affecting us as well and hitting Wee Scottish Tours hard like every other part of the Scottish tourism industry. My friend and colleague in China was telling me on the phone at the weekend the Chinese tourism industry has also came to a halt at the moment and there not sure if or when it will recover.
Like Scotland, China has been around for a very long time and we will still be here when the Coronavirus goes away. The stores and restaurants might change but the scenery and history will still be the same.
The first minister of Scotland, Nicola Sturgeon and the British Prime Minister Boris Johnson are really rallying the troops and supporting the NHS in every way they possibly can, If we all do our bit we will get through this together!
