CUSTOMER TESTIMONIALS

Kevin was an amazing guide, very personable and with in-depth knowledge of the history of the places we visited, which he shared with passion and humour. What made the 8 hours even more special was Kevin’s patience and ingenuity in accommodating some of the changes I wanted to incorporate in our itinerary. I highly recommend Kevin to visitors who are interested in both the popular sights and those off the beaten path

We had a partial itinerary to start with ,Kevin got to know us as a group and filled our days with some of the most interesting and beautiful sites. A lot of the sites we were not previously aware of but really added to our trip. We spent 5 days with Kevin and felt he was one of our group which really made our trip that much more enjoyable. Kevin’s personality, knowledge of the area and its history was outstanding making it very easy for me to highly recommend him to anyone going to Scotland.

My husband and I had a wonderful day in Edinburgh with Kevin. He created a tour just to our “historical” taste with visit to Antoine Wall near Falkirk Wheel, Edinburgh Castle and Royal Mile, Crammond Roman ruins, and sights in between. He promptly picked us up at cruise terminal and delivered us back in plenty of time to catch last tender to our ship. We could tell he used his experience and did his research to create a lifetime memory for us.

We very much enjoyed our tour and travel arrangements made with Kevin. He was very accommodating and flexible with our request for a customized itinerary. He was easy to work with and communicated quickly as we did our planning. He is also very knowledgeable and passionate about Scotland and conveyed this with enthusiasm and humor. He was very hospitable, courteous and respectful, and we would seek him in the future for other tours.

Kevin was an excellent tour guide. We had a wonderful day visiting Stirling Castle, the Wallace Monument and some extra stops Kevin suggested, such as an overview of the city as we left Edinburgh, that I’m so glad we added to the day. He really knows so much of the history of the area and also knows the little stops, like the delicious lunch he suggested at the Distillery and he was even kind enough to lead us to an inexpensive store to purchase another suitcase to take home all our souvenirs, gathered during our stay. I would highly recommend Kevin as the person to guide you through all the highlights of Scotland. A comfortable vehicle and he had a little basket of waters and snacks for us to enjoy throughout the day. Just perfect.

I was looking for a way to see Scotland without having to do a group tour that locked me into a crowded bus of tourists, but didn’t want to commit myself to having to navigate the tour books and roads myself. Booking Kevin was the best decision of my entire trip. Very professional, informative and really fun. I feel like I got to know Scotland as a local and enjoyed every minute!

We had has a wonderful tour with Wee Scottish Tours Tours. Kevin is passionate about Edinburgh and is keen to share this with his guests. He took us to all the key places plus lots of interesting sites that we had never heard of. We learnt loads of interesting facts that we would never have heard about if we had visited on our own, facts that really brought the city to life.

Kevin really does all he can to make your visit perfect. Our flight into Edinburgh that should have arrived the previous evening had a nine hour delay and arrived only at 3 am in the morning. I called Kevin as soon as I heard to see whether we could start our tour a bit later the next day (he did all he could to shuffle things around for us). When we finally arrived at Edinburgh airport in the wee hours I was surprised to see taxis waiting for our flight. It turns out Kevin had called his taxi driving friends to let them know there would be a flight coming in. We never asked him to do this and only found out later. He really goes the extra mile for his clients and I recommend him fully.

We had an exceptional experience with Kevin while traveling throughout Scotland. He was very personable and knowledgeable of his native lands. He had a wonderful sense of humor and loved sharing his knowledge of Scotland. He fit right in with the family and seemed to really enjoy our company as much as we enjoyed his. He took us to the most interesting places including the Highland games at Inverary.

We thought we would stay a couple of hours but the activities were so interesting and the splendor of the Campbell Home and grounds was too much to leave. The people of Scotland were so accommodating and warm. This land is one of my favorite places on earth. So much history and interesting things to see and do. We hated to leave

I decided to book a private tour for me and my son a few days prior to our departure from Scotland; and what a tour it was!! Not only did Kevin bring us to many Outlander filming locations (one castle also happened to be Winterfell from GOT!), he also told us so many interesting stories, facts and the history, of course, of every place we visited. Kevin also brought us to a few places that we had mentioned wanting to see at some point, but weren’t really a part of the “Outlander” theme.

I can’t say enough about how wonderful this day was – I had never booked a private tour before, and Kevin was so welcoming, easygoing and knowledgeable. I even received a message after the tour, listing a few more sites for us to visit in the area and restaurants that we would enjoy. I will ABSOLUTELY book another tour with him!! Thanks again for everything Kevin.

If you only do one thing in Edinburgh, then do this tour. Kevin picked us up from our hotel and took us round the main highlights and some hidden treasures in Edinburgh. Nothing was too much trouble and he was more than happy to take us to the Royal Yacht Britannia. Kevin is a knowledgeable and enthusiastic guide who obviously loves the city and he had some great stories to tell. It was wet during our stay and it was wonderful to be driven around seeing the sights, the perfect way to spend a rainy Monday afternoon. Thank you Kevin!

Kevin is super nice, welcoming, and knows his stuff. We were so impressed – including texting us to let us know he’s arrived, helping with luggage, waiting at the airport, etc. It’s a great way to see some of the awesome sites a bit farther out then the city center. Can’t recommend him enough – my family and I were still talking about our buddy Kevin after we left. Thanks again!

Kevin picked me and louis up at 9.30am (15 mins after we called him) on a miserable morning – best call I made all weekend He was happy to take us to see what we wanted over 3 1/2 hours – we had to see the train spotting steps, Arthers seat, the castle etc and he filled in the gaps. We learnt where the true home of golf is (not St Andrews) why the hanging laws were changed ,the real story of saving private Ryan and so much more – genuinely a totally engaging tour with a really top man I have no hesitation in recommending Kevin a brilliant way to see an outstanding city.
